Nanook! Our New Puppy!

We've been wanting to get a dog for a while now and we were leaning towards a husky. Well...we fell in love with this lil guy which is an American Eskimo. His name is Nanook and is a fluffy ball of cotton. He's teething still but loves to cuddle at nap time. We're excited to bring him to North Carolina after New Years and are excited to announce this new addition to the family!

Happy Birthday Dad!

I love and miss you.
For those who can't read it. He's a Big kid, a loving grandpa, a father, and an explorer.

Stereotypes

So Krista and I did this stereotypical image experiment a while back and I've had these pictures on file for a long time. I came across them and decided to edit and post each one. We tried capturing a lot of stereotypes in high school just by a one shot image. A sort of "first impression" you could call it. I hope you enjoy!

A closer look. These things would come up to you and flap-attack your arm for food lol.
A beautiful view.

We had an AMAZING visit with Christy. She kept me great company while Travis was away and was generous enough to give us our Christmas presents early. I love spending time with my sister and I loved being able to share our home with her. We took a visit down to New Bern where Nicolas Sparks lives. It was so beautiful. I cannot wait til Christmas when I get to see EVERYONE up in Ohio. I miss u all!

Pre Christmas

In between Thanksgiving and Christmas seems like the most cheerful time of year. Travis and I have been relaxing and embracing the weather changes while our tree is up and plans are made to go up to Ohio for the holidays. Christy will be flying in on Friday and will be our guest for the weekend to visit in our new place. We're excited to see her and spend some time with our family.
