What is "Love"...?

So...I'm eighteen....I'm the baby of 5 total sisters and I'm an aunt to 3, soon to be 4 nieces and nephews. Who would of foreseen my future as being married right out of high school. I have dated, loved and lost, tried new things, adventured, been in lows and highs, and have experienced life in a public school....(that's life right there lol). I met Travis and fell in love like most teens do after a while. But Love...what is love? So many people use that word and yet so very few know what it means. I know I am only 18....newly married, and may be jaded but I wanna express what I've come to find what this worn word means. Having a husband who sees me as his heaven and stars every moment of the day and whom looks me in the eyes and says he wouldn't know how to live without me has shown me the other side of love. Travis means the world to me and having that feeling that you would take a bullet for someone in less than a heartbeat seems to lean towards the word love. Love can be that butterfly feeling of nervousness when you see someones presence even if you live with them 24/7. It can be hurt u feel when apart from your better half. It can mean being so comfortable with someone that doors don't matter in your house anymore. I can't sum up what love is but I can describe my reasoning from experience. Here's a small list.

Love is....

Melting at the sight of your better half's blue eyes look back at you.

Cooking a meal that you have no idea how to make because it's their favorite

Watching show you hate just to sit with that someone

Holding hands at inconvenient times just to show everyone you care about them

Putting your hands on their knees while driving

Sharing laughs at yourselves in the middle of a spat because you know it's stupid

Embracing cold feet in bed just to warm them up

Being able to share a toothbrush

Watching TV at home on a Friday night just because you wanna snuggle over clubbing

Holding hair back when sick

Watching the clock anticipating their arrival

Never falling asleep without a goodnight kiss

Letting your wife play your video games even when she ruins your online score every time

Getting up at 5am just to see them off

Letting your wife put eye liner on you to see what you'd look like as an emo kid

Texting each other from the moment you're apart til the moment you're together again

Giving kisses even when their morning breath stinks

Knowing you're complete when together

Not being able to see your life without them
.
.
.
.

...and those are just a fraction of my list.....
