TURKEY DAY!!!!

Travis and I had a wonderful visit with Dad. We enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Chef Theuring as displayed above. He's hard work paid off. Dad had the chance to see around our military town and alittle of the actual base. It was nice to visit with Family and just relax while enjoying the holidays. We have a lot to be thankful for and our first thanksgiving together was one to remember. Christy will be coming down next weekend and we are excited to host to another guest in our bungalow.

Christy is the type of chick who likes to rock out...therefore I posted this instead of a heartwarming picture. lol. I love you Christy and I hope and pray you have a wonderful time on vacation!

I received a call today from my father asking if it was ok if he came down to visit Travis and I for the holidays. We were quite surprised and are excited to have our first guest stay over. It will be nice to get to see my dad again. He will be flying in on Wednesday and Staying til Friday to spend thanksgiving in our new bungalow. We are excited to say that we will be expecting quite a few people within the next month or two coming down to visit or up in some cases lol.

Our New Home!

We are excited to finally be settled! Staying from place to place and having all of your things in temporary units is not what anyone would call "The life". Our house duplex is very cozy now that things are hung on the walls and everything is in its own place. We had a good fight with the Realtors about the cleanliness of the place and what was not taken care of previously but in the end we had 11 days taken off our rent for cleaning it up ourselves. Now we are POSITIVE everything is spot cleaned and not half done. There are a few more fixes to be done and replacements such as the dishwasher but it'll all get done in time. Travis is back at work after a week off for veterans day and I'm taking care of everything at home. We are sad to say we will not be able to make it home for Thanksgiving but we will for Christmas. We miss everyone and hope all is going well.
